Andrei Cherney, who is running for AZ State Treasurer in 2010, will be the guest speaker at our LD 6 Meeting this Thursday, May 22 at 7:00.

Ann Wallack, Chair of our Maricopa County Democratic Party, will also speak at the meeting.

Tres de Mayo with Maricopa County Dems on May 3

The Maricopa County Democratic Party is hosting* a "Tres de Mayo" celebration on Sunday, May 3, 2009, from 5:30 to 8:00pm at "Tradiciones," located at 1602 E. Roosevelt Street, Phoenix 85006. 

The celebration will include a fiesta buffet, music, dancing, and a silent auction.

Cost:  $60 per person.  (Proceeds go to the Maricopa County Democratic Party)

AZ Democratic Senators to hold budget hearings at ASU

STATE CAPITOL, PHOENIX – Legislative Democrats invite members of the public to budget hearings at Arizona State University, in Sierra Vista and at the University of Arizona, the seventh, eighth and ninth in a series of hearings that will be held statewide.

Members of the House and Senate Appropriations committees will be in attendance to hear citizens’ concerns of the deep cuts in the state budget.
